Psychotherapy, Counselling, Couples Therapy and Supervision in Hackney Central London

Welcome

My name is Ross. Whether you are thinking about beginning psychotherapy for the first time, or have had some previous experience of seeing a counsellor or psychotherapist, I hope you will find the information here in these few pages just enough to awaken your curiosity about my practice based in Hackney Central London. If, after your visit to my website, you have any questions or there is anything left unanswered for you, I hope that you will feel able to contact me, in confidence. I shall look forward to hearing from you. I work with individuals and also couples.

What may have brought you here

You may find yourself here because you've been experiencing anxiety (generalised anxiety disorder) or depression or perhaps you've been struggling with another kind of problem and now the time has come to do something about it. Maybe something more specific like a bereavement or possibly an unexpected event, redundancy or a relationship breakdown is making it difficult for you to adjust and cope just now. You may have already tried hard to make changes but find that you are unable to let go of old patterns on your own. Psychotherapy and counselling offer the unique and supportive space you may need to explore and work through these situations. I know very well how difficult it can be to make the first step, but it is only by doing so that things can begin to transform. We all experience difficult periods in our life and sometimes it takes professional help to enable us to make sense of things, become unstuck and get back on track.

Psychotherapy can be very effective in helping you to:

• Gain Peace of Mind, Respect, and Freedom
• Identify important changes to be made
• Experience support and guidance
• Identify realistic hopes and goals
• Develop new patterns
• Learn new skills and tools
• Feel more connected and purposeful

I am a UKCP registered and accredited psychotherapist practising in Hackney Central East London, E8 bordering N16, E1, E5 and E3 not far from N1. I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.
